Like many organizations and individuals around the world, PHRI wanted to help Ukraine when Russia invaded. So we set up a donation program, through UNICEF Canada, to raise money for the Ukrainian Humanitarian Crisis fund.
And what a response we got… We reached a total of $15,000 in personal donations by our staff – matched by corporate donations by PHRI.
That is more than 4 times our original target. Our original campaign for three weeks started on March 7 – and within 12 hours, we had reached our target!
We then went on to double that target in a week, and had reached $10,00 in donations by the second week of the campaign!
Friday March 25th was the official end of our campaign. PHRI will be matching the $15,000, bringing the total donations to UNICEF for Ukrainian Humanitarian Crisis effort to $30,000.
The generosity of the PHRI family will touch many Ukrainian families during this time of crisis. We are deeply grateful and proud of our employees.
