PHRI Executive Director and Senior Scientist Salim Yusuf has secured the #11 spot worldwide and #2 in Canada in the ranking of the World’s Best Medicine Scientists by Research.com. He has also been recognized with the Medicine Leader Award for 2024.
Last year, Dr. Yusuf ranked #15 globally, making this year’s ranking a significant achievement.
Research.com, a renowned academic platform for researchers, bases its rankings on the D-index (Discipline H-index) metric, which evaluates the impact of academic publications within a specific discipline. The 2024 rankings include only leading scientists with a D-index of at least 70 in Medicine.
